DoDEA Europe is proud to celebrate the Month of the Military Child (MoMC) across 64 schools in 8 countries, shining a spotlight on the strength, resilience, and courage of military-connected children. This month, our schools are hosting a wide range of events that include clap-ins, purple shirt days, interactive activities, performances by school bands, and more — all aimed at recognizing the vital role military children play in supporting their families and communities.

DoDEA Europe has successfully integrated wristwatch heart rate monitor (HRM) technology into high school physical education (PE) classes across Europe. This initiative highlights a strong collaboration among IT specialists, educational technologists (ETs), instructional systems specialists (ISS), and teacher support networks through job-alike Focus Collaboration Time (FCT).

Highlights from the DoDEA State 2025 Mathcounts Competition this week! Our mathletes–Narmin Guliyeva, Chaeyoung Cha, Kateryna Chernysheva, and Mehriban Ibrahimzade–earned first place in the Team Competition, and the team Captain, Narmin Guliyeva, placed second in the Individual Competition.
