The Ankara Trojans Boys’ and Girls' Varsity Volleyball "A Team" Victory!

The Ankara Trojans Boys’ Varsity Volleyball A Team dominated Oasis in a swift two-set victory, showcasing their power and teamwork. Donald, the unstoppable star outside hitter and captain, relentlessly smashed the ball past Oasis’s defense, racking up kill after kill. First-year players Alfarid and Shaun proved to be an impenetrable iron wall at the net, shutting down Oasis’s attacks with monster blocks. As the final points approached, Seifulla delivered the finishing blow with a perfectly placed ace, sealing the Trojans’ commanding win and sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Yesterday, the B Team Trojan boys had a tough match at Oasis. The first set was a close match at about a 3-point difference. Unfortunately, we couldn’t keep the momentum going in the second set, leading to a devastating defeat. It was the first volleyball match for many of our teammates, so it was good for them to experience the striking intensity of a real game as they will know what to expect in the next matches. For now, we will keep training hard every week for the upcoming tournaments and keep fighting to make the school proud.

The Ankara Trojan Girls’ Varsity Volleyball A Team Laid their dominance at Oasis in an expeditious two-set victory, showcasing their power, vigilance, and teamwork. Jiya, the outside hitter and team captain, delivered several powerful aces and spikes, easily racking up points. Olena, the second captain and an expert in underhand serves, displayed her usual accuracy with spot-on serves. Selbi and Anastasia F., the team's precise setters, consistently provided perfect sets for the hitters. Zhula and Elza, the team's opposite hitters, contributed significantly, with Elza landing wonderful hits and Zhula serving dynamically across the court. Ana, the libero of the team, showed off her great skills in the backline, fearlessly dived, and hardly missed out.

The Girls' Volleyball B team did an amazing job receiving multiple serves, giving strong spikes, and more. Although their team lost against the Oasis Girls' B team, their hard work and passion for volleyball will build a path to success and victories in the future. Nuray, Charlotte, Khidoyatkhon, and Anastasia were working hard on defense, providing many successful receives and noteworthy last-minute saves. Nurayim, Adela, and Charlotte gave our hitters great sets and tipped over the ball when necessary. The bench players were also extremely helpful in providing support for the B team's starting players.
