Hearts on the Dance Floor
Valentine’s Day Event Brings Fun and Community to K–5 Students
The Valentine’s Day Dance, held on Friday, February 20, brought excitement and smiles to our elementary students in grades K–5. The gym was transformed into a festive celebration space filled with twinkling lights, colorful Valentine’s decorations, and cheerful music that welcomed families the moment they arrived.
This memorable event was made possible through the dedication and planning of Ms. Giambanco, 3rd grade teacher, whose leadership ensured every detail came together smoothly. She was supported by enthusiastic Student Council members, along with an amazing group of parent and teacher volunteers. Their teamwork created a warm, welcoming environment where every student could participate, play, and celebrate.
Throughout the evening, students enjoyed a variety of engaging stations. Musical chairs brought lots of laughter as students dashed for seats when the music paused. The photo booth allowed students to capture fun memories with friends. At the arts and crafts table, creativity shone as students designed valentines and heart-themed projects. The ball toss game added friendly competition, while Valentine’s Day bingo sparked excitement.
The night ended on a high note as all K–5 students gathered on the dance floor for the final group dance. Upbeat, kid‑friendly music filled the gym as students danced together, creating a heartwarming moment that showcased friendship and unity across all grade levels.
